upgrade?

Hey guys,

I have been made two offers. I can get an NAC72 for 450 pounds. The other offer is old style NAC42.5, NAP90 (which powers the NAC42.5?!) & NAP250 for 900 pounds.
My current system: CDI, NAC92, NAP90/3, Flatcap, MA Studio2 & Rel Stadium II.
Any advice?
Thanx!

Bas

Buy both,

keep the 72 and 250 using your flatcap to power the 72.

Sell the 92 & 90/3 and the 42.5 & 90 as 2 complete systems0

regards,

MarkĘ

That would be great Mark, but I don't have that amount of cash right now. I must be sure to have some buyers for the other equipment, which I haven't....

In the US, the 72 is worth $700-$800, so 450 pounds isn't a great deal (though it's not bad).

A 42.5 is worth about $200, a 90 about $450-$550, and a 250 is $1200 to $2000, depending on age etc. That's a much better deal at 900 pounds.

If it were me, I'd buy the latter, keep 42-5/Flat/250, sell the 92/90 (it's market value is higher right now than it will be soon once people realize it was discontinued). Then I'd set about looking for at least a 32-5.
