George Telek - Serious Tam: pop music from Papua New Guinea on the RealWorld label. Truly excellent musically and cracking production;

Joan Osborne - Righteous Love. A worthy follow up to Relish;

Natalie Merchant - Live in Concert: a well recorded live CD with some of the "standard" Merchant tracks;

Morphine - Bootleg Detroit: recorded by a fan in the audience at one of their concerts. Sound quality is better than you might expect but not brilliant. Some bands are better live than in the studio - Morphine is not one of them. This is nevertheless a CD worth having if you are a Morphine addict (boom! boom!);

Jewel - Spirit: bit of a disappointment. She has a good voice but the songs are not particularly strong. Pleasant describes it best;

Danu - Think before you think: classy diddly-diddly Irish music.

cheers
