I have 82/180 and Marantz CD12. It sound O.K. But from reading this forum , People always use Naim CD. What CD , I should go for. What I would gain and lose ?

Ken,
I rate your CD12 is quite a good player. I'd suggest that for an upgrade try listening to a CDX. This will soon tell you if you prefer the NAIM's presentation over the Marantz. If so buy one. I did and have never looked back.

I already have 2 two hicap on it. My problem is that it's hard to find place to audition Naim CD in context of similar system of mind here. It will be quite expensive to sell my CD12 and buy Naim CD.
