naim 044 - dreamhouse

Posted by: Uwe Supper on 20 December 2000

Hi all,
went home for lunch, the naim CD 044 - Fred Simon: Dreamhouse- had arrived, listened to a couple of tracks and found it great. Pity I had to go back to my office, but this laid back piano jazz is just what I need at the moment. Fred, I hope you read this! Great CD! It also had a good review in the last hifi plus, btw.
Regards
Uwe

PS: Thanks to Richard and Suzanne for sending the CD over!

Chaps

One of my sons bought me this CD as a Christmas present.

Its very very very very slow.......but a great way to wind down after a lousy day at the office.

Piano...bass and drums........all come through superbly and just plain compliment each other.

Super CD......well worth the money.

Regards

Super cool and chilled out Mick

What about after a great day at the office? Not so good? Or even better?

Also, "slow" is relative ... Dreamhouse may be slow compared to Charlie Parker but not so compared to Paul Bley.

In any case, sincere thanks for the kind compliments. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, and it's nice to see that the tree doesn't rise too far from the apple.
