Room Acoustics/De-Coupling by Homebase !!!

Down @ Homebase on saturday i came across a small section dedicated to furniture catsors/dampers, all sorts of rubber/metal/plastic goodies.

In the end i bought some 'spiked' castors (intended to protect your carpet !!!) and also the little plastic dampers 'buttons' the sort you get free with MFI crap...

Anyway i got home and proceeded to remove the rubbers from underneath the sofa and replace them with the castor spikes, then attach the rubber dampers to anything that rattled (doors, cabinets, etc...)... ALL THIS COST £6.24 !!!

Et Voila ... the main improvements were further tightening of BASS, notes started/stopped clearly and soundstaging improved.

So get down to your local Homebase and check em out, if you havent already...
