Late Junction

Fiona Talkington's eclectic Radio 3 programme has been a pleasant find over the past few weeks.

Woven between Baroque and World music, last night's playlist included Tangerine Dream's Journey Through a Burning Brain, John Fahey's Sunflower River Blues and two tracks from the Montgolfier Brothers' (Roger Quigley and Mark Tranmer) album Seventeen Stars.

Any Late Junction adherents out there - and any Montgolfier afficionados?

For those interested in perusing playlists the following website may appeal: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/world/latejunction.html

Late Junction is indeed a jewel in the Radio 3 crown, and Verity Sharp is a babe too (not that you can tell from the radio obviously).

cheers
