More than one nail I would say!

MP3 low quality is irrelevant for a very relevant market share of CDA actual buyers.

Audio enthusiasts, audiophiles, collectors and a few others will go on buying CD's but the problem is the CDA format is not capable of support high definition formats. What future will bring for these segments?
I donīt know which medium will be most successful but I hope audiophiles could soon chose among many alternatives. AFAIK, we have now Internet downloads, DVD audio special editions and Blueray audio albums. None of them leaves much more life for CD players. With this scenario, a versatile music server based on a hard disk capable of ripping and storing from any format (Internet, DVD, flash sticks...) looks really appealing to me. Alternatively you can play with DACS and computers but in the long run I think a specialized machine should be the winner for the enthusiast market.
