Has anyone heard of this TV brand or model? DMTECH DML4126WD

I've seen them on sale at John Lewis, but don't know anything about them. Maybe there's a thought that if JL stock them, and presumably give their 5 year warranty on them, they must be at least reasonable?

I have a 17 inch model with a built in DVD player. I am very pleased with it, John Lewis had stopped selling them as they had come to the end of the production run for that model. I got mine from Comet and I am more than happy with it. I wish I could have got one from John Lewis to take advantage of their superb customer service and free 5 year guarantee.

PS, picture quality and sound are great, made mine multi region, let me know if I can be of any more help

When I looked at this model in John Lewis and questioned the sales guy as I was unfamiliar with the brand name he said they were part of Samsung

Thanks for the responses, it would appear to be a reasonably safe bet.

If we go ahead and purchase I will post my findings.

For the record, we had Sky installed on Saturday and the engineer - who must be familiar with most brands - had not heard of it.

At £400 for a 17" WS LCD c/w DVD it seems a fair deal to me..... my conservatory doesn't need state of the art but a single box solution......

Hi, for whats its worth my folks have just a 17" dmtech integrated flatscreen lcd tv/dvd player. Haven't really watched it enough yet!, but first impressions are good i have to say
a) it looks like a well built piece of kit.
b) has a good easy to use remote control, only gripe being that it is bottom heavy and can be a bit awkward to grip properly.
c) most importantly has very good picture quality.
I have also never heard of the brand dmtech before, but i have seen the dirt cheap offerings by the likes of bush,goodmans,alba, relisys etc, and i have to say it certainly looks like a much better value product than anything from the above brands. If you are keen on this model however , i would advise you to enquire about the reliability of this model and brands products, because if they are a relatively new brand there will more than likely be little if any data regarding reliability.

I recently purchased a DMTECH DML4126WD which we have found to perform well. Two points require help please.

1) What is the code to to make the Sky+ remote control operate the volume, etc. of the TV

2) How can one contact the manufacturer directly?

Well, I made my decision today.

I looked very seriously at the DMTECH as a solution for our conservatory. It would sit on an IKEA Lack table.

Went armed to my local John Lewis (never knowingly undersold !!!) with a decent action DVD and had a look.

Walked out with a SAMSUNG 15" TV/DVD combi which did the trick. Only £130 and has a 5yr TV Guarantee (2yr DVD). Picture quality is quite superb. Main use will be DVD replay.

If you don't need an LCD flat screen - have a look at the Samsung.
