Suggestions for the Naim Label

Posted by: Bob Edwards on 10 February 2001

All--

Given the interest in both Naim hardware and software, I thought it might be fun to offer the Naim label some suggestions as to what performers to go after.

My first suggestion would be Bob Mould--his music is brilliant but none of his recordings have the phenemonal sound quality I've heard on various Naim Label releases. I would kill to have "Workbook" redone by Naim--an absolutely brilliant record that set the stage for the 90s alternative scene--you can hear echoes of it in everything from Nirvana to REMs "Automatic For the People."

Other suggestions ?

Cheers,

Bob

"How about...
Bert Jansch, preferably live."

We would do that if Bert is listening?

Also - it is nice to be able to say thank you (Fred Simon is a case in point)

... and nice to be thanked before I'm long gone.
