118 my arse

Posted by: garyi on 01 December 2003

Let me tell you, these bloody numbers do not work. I phone up for apple customer services the other day, the number I got was for freeserve.

Not long ago I phoned for a shop in watford and got one in Brighton.

Who the hell thought this would be a good idea?

Who complianed in the first place that 192 was bad? I certainly didn't.

Do you know that on average you are charged 20p extra per minute if they put your through directly!

Bunch of arse.

I use 118 500 (BT) and have no complaints.

Just don't let 'em connect the call!

Alex; just exactly what sort of service does Maureen provide?

My wife had problems with 118-500 - she was told that the facilty that she wanted to call did not exist (Some health helpline)despite the fact that this helpine was advertised regularly on TV.

I am still trying to work out the deregulation aspect - how do you deregulate something that is free?
