Windows 98/wheel mouse query

Posted by: Thomas K on 09 December 2003

I'm using a Logitech OEM wheel mouse and W98. Is there any way of adjusting the wheel speed?

I've checked the Logitech site for software, but my mouse model isn't listed.

Thanks,
Thomas

Did you check out this software?

http://www.versiontracker.com/php/search.php?PHPSESSID=761a3fa7b2f63cac80c98b8e104ffee5&mode=basic&action=search&str=logitech&plt%5B%5D=windows&jumptoCat=0

Its supposed to be for all their mice, aolthough I must admit I am not sure what an OEM mouse is

Gareth, thanks, I might give that a try.

"OEM" is the abbreviation for "original equipment manufacturer", which is a stupid term for "original thingy from company X but you didn't buy it from company X". Computers, for example, are often sold with OEM versions of Windows "thrown in"; in that case the documentation will tell you not to contact Microsoft if there's a problem, but the vendor. Well, in Germany, anyway.

Edit: That site didn't work, but I got the software from download.com -- works fine. Thanks again.

Try going to the Logitech website and downloading the mouse driver
