“Fast” Eddie Clarke. Last surviving member of the classic Motorhead lineup passed away today aged 67.

Was lucky enough to see the classic “Motorhead” at Leeds Queens Hall on the “Bomber” tour and at Deeside for “Ace of Spades”.

R.I.P. Eddie.

Same from me. My first ever concert, Motorhead, Leeds University 1983 albeit with Brian Robertson although I was lucky to be at the Brixton Academy gig for their 25th anniversary (the one they released the DVD for) with all the guests inc Fast Eddie. Ace of Spades on cassette my first ever album. End of a chapter for me now all 3 of the line up have gone. Got a feeling "No Sleep..." is going to get a loud airing tonight when I get home.

I just heard this on Radio New Zealand National - they also mentioned his connection Of Eddie and Charles Tumahai who had payed in a band with him prior to Eddie joining Motorhead and therefore a mention was made to Bill Nelson and Be Bop Deluxe who Charles played bass with.
Ace of Spades was played in his memory.

RIP.
