The power of ROCK

Posted by: Paper Plane on 14 April 2018

As I write this, my eyes (and nose) are streaming, my throat is tight and anyone looking in the window would worry I was having a seizure as I thrash around.

I ain't. I'm lost in the awesome power of ROCK.

This time it's Kingdom Come but it could be Quo, Maiden, RATM, Rammstein or any one of a thousand others. It still gets to me every time, even at age 66.

There is nothing like the power of ROCK. How can I express the sheer ecstasy of loud, heavy ROCK? I can't in words, I just don't have them. Just put another album on, crank it up and LIVE!

steve

PS Other forms of musical ecstasy are available...

AC / DC Problem Child - The Best of the Bon Scott Years.

8 X CD boxset of live to air broadcasts from the Bon Scott era.

That's eight CD's of mental rock for less than 15 squid on The River. Why wouldn't you?

Hello? CAN YOU HEAR ME!  ....................... no, thought not.

Goddam you Marshall! I never even knew this existed and now I've had to order it.

As a callow 17 year old, I was actually at the November '79 Hammersmith Odeon date. I touched Angus' satchel as he went through the crowd!

In that case, you definitely don't want to know about this one then ................. due out on the 27th.

14 x CD's, hours of fun, for 30 squid from the usual place.

All right, I'll stop now.
