Massive Attack - Heligoland - 2018 Vinyl reissue?

Posted by: Bob the Builder on 09 May 2018

Just wondered if anyone had actually stumped up the very expensive £50 - £55 for this reissue and if so was the quality worth it?  I actually pre-orderd this on amazon for £30 sometime in 2017 and the order was cancelled by them soon afterward.  I don't mind paying prices like this for something very rare or a specialist remaster but if this is just a bog standard reissue released in the 100,000's then it is a new level of p*** take inflicted on vinyl collectors.

seems to be well liked @ discogs and most have found copies for a lot less than 50qs

Thanks AV IN BC for the link but apart from the Canadian seller who will with p&p get it to you in 9+weeks for £37 all the other prices inc p&p are all over £47 and all UK sellers are £55 -£65 inc p&p which is over inlated IMO unless it is an exceptional pressing using expensive high quality techniques and materials.

All of Massive Attacks previous reissued LP's one of which is a double can be bought for less that £20 inc p&p except  the excellent Blue Lines Limited edition Box set inc 2xLP, remastered CD, DVD  which I paid £35 inc p&p when it was first released.

i didn't mean to link the sellers but the reviews, shipping cost is a non-starter for me too, buying and selling.

Yes it is a good LP for sure and a bit of a return to the sound I love them for.
