Glenn Branca RIP

Just read about Glenn Branca's death in The Guardian. I confess I was not familiar with his name or work, but the article makes interesting reading:

Where should I start in exploring his work?

Yes I saw the sad news earlier. Branca was a pioneer of the guitar ensemble. Essentially taking a bunch of guitarists each picking an individual note of a chord and as a whole producing the full chord to symphonic proportions.

I must confess having got most of Branca's Symphonies, I'm at a loss to recommend a place to start.  Qobuz has most his work Gloria, Tonal Plexus, Devil's Choir at the Gates of Heaven, at a reasonable price and it's worth giving them a preview.
