The United States of America declared independence from the British Empire on July 4

One of the most important documents in American history has been rediscovered.

The United States of America declared independence from the British Empire on July 4 1776. Only two parchment manuscripts of The Declaration of Independence remain.

One is housed in the National Archives in Washington DC and the other had lain relatively unknownin the archives at West Sussex County Council in Chichester.

My question to HH ( who used to work for this enterprising organisation) is :-

Was this document found in the bottom of your desk shortly after you retired last year ?

By the time the Duke of Cambridge is king, he'll also be the rule over the Sovereign States of America... Since being declared unfit for independence.

Toby

I laughed and you should know that this thought does not just occur to folks on your side of the pond. Nevertheless, those going through Brexit probably would do well to be more circumspect.

Cheers

Indeed.

The UK isn't capable of governing itself let alone anywhere else.

Sadly all too true.

Read or watch The Handmaids Tale to see how the certain countries are progressing.
