Rye is just a few miles down the coast from me. In fact my cycle route this afternoon around Romney Marsh takes me close to the town. I might be tempted this year as I missed a chance last year to see Kandace Springs at St Mary's Church - great venue.

Although, I see not all events are in Rye - Corinne Bailey Rae billed on the festival list is playing down the coast at the De La Warr Pavillion and the excellent Courtney Pine is almost sold out.

Yes not too far from me in Hove. I too was very disappointed to miss Kandice Springs last year but have both Tony Momrelle and Zara Mcfarlane both on Saturday with a few free shows in between. Let’s hope the weather is as beautiful.
