There are a few of us on here who may enjoy this excellent series even for those that do not enjoy House Music you still might want to watch and enjoy.

Part one is very interesting tracing the roots of both Chicago House from Philadelphia Soul and Disco and also Detroit Techno not to be confused with the later horrible German Industrial Techno, Detroit Techno is slower more melodic and has it's roots in Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode.

I watched part 2 last night which was about how clubbing has evolved. I was actually at that huge Sunrise party it was all over the Sun news paper in the following days and then of course the criminal justice bill came in and that was that.

I have to say that even as 19 year old I was slightly cynical and saw it for what it was rather than anything more than a good party.
