        ????????????????YOUTUBE VIDEO-THREAD????????????

In this thread we can put in various Music-Video's.
There are many good music-videos with pretty good soundquality.
Unfortunately, quite a few with poor soundquality too.

But it's the only chance to be able to see our artists Live when we want, many has also passed away.
So then the only chance to see them Live,is on these music video's.

I shall start by putting in a video with....

????John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers with Gary Moore- ”So Many roads”.
From 2012 Montreux Jazz Festival 2008...Special Guest Gary Moore...????????

???? James N,...It was a slightly different music-video ????,but as you wrote..”It's music in my ears”.

It was interesting, but I think we will continue to stick to music created by people and musical instruments ????.

James N,..when I watched your video,I thought of The Beatles song "Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds".

Well..Back to order...

            ????Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa????
          ”Nutbush City Limits”..Music Video.

A song written by "The Queen of Rock’n’Roll" Tina Turner.
Beth Hart,an amazing singer with raw energy,..this video below has really good soundquality.
Beth doing a fantastic version of Tina’ song.

Joe Bonamassa,..the name says well everything, look how he smiles a few times at the beginning of the video..Everything is correct in this song.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Much buzzed about singer-songwriter Beth Hart, known for her raw and powerful blues-rock sound.
And guitarist Joe Bonamassa, one of the best guitarists of his generation.
They release their sophomore album of classic soul covers,..Seesaw on May 21,2013.

Seesaw is the follow up to 2011's Don't Explain,on which Slant called Beth Hart "a simply peerless frontwoman”.

? AllMusic.com said "Bonamassa and band accent her every phrase with requisite rowdiness, sting and grit”.
? About.com called the duo "a match made in Heaven".
? MOJO praised their "potent musical chemistry”.
                     ------------------------------
The album was nominated for a 2012 Blues Music Award.
                     ------------------------------

Seesaw opens with a joyous horn reveille to kick off "Them There Eyes”, made famous in 1939 by Billie Holiday..one of Beth Hart's biggest inspirations.
"My mother turned me on to this song when I was a kid," says Beth.
"I love the bubbliness. It's sexy,it's fun,and it has a great swing to it”.

????On the track "Nutbush City Limits” written by Tina Turner,..Hart wails with an intensity that would make Tina Turner proud.
This song is on the video below.

And her slow and soulful burn on "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" pairs dramatically with Bonamassa's smoking guitar.

The tempo kicks up several notches with Hart's tight, rocking vocals on "Can't Let Go”,from Lucinda Williams Grammy-winning 1998 album Car Wheels On A Gravel Road.
It's followed by her fierce cover of "Miss Lady”, the Buddy Miles song that was originally produced by Jimi Hendrix.

Hart revisits Melody Gardot's songbook to deliver a sultry, jazzy rendition of "If I Tell You I Love You”.

"See Saw," is a Don Covay/Steve Cropper composition from Aretha Franklin's 1968 album Aretha Now.
The album closes with Hart's haunting and atmospheric version of "Strange Fruit”,a song that began as a poem about American racism..and lynching,..by Abel Meeropol.

Geoffrey Arnold Beck (1944) is an English rock guitarist.
Beth Hart (1972) is an American singer, songwriter and musician.

Worth noting in the video:
?Stephen Taylor is one of the Background singer.
?Rhonda Smith,..the bass-player,also played bass in RIP Prince band.

???? "Purple Rain" is a song by RIP Prince And The Revolution.

Lyrics: "Purple Rain"..????????

I never meant to cause you any sorrow
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only wanted one time to see you laughing
I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain

Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain

I only want to see you bathing in the purple rain

I never wanted to be your weekend lover
I only wanted to be some kind of friend
Baby, I could never steal you from another
It's such a shame our friendship had to end

Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain

I only want to see you underneath the purple rain

Honey I know, I know, I know times are changing
It's time we all reach out for something new
That means you too
You say you want a leader
But you can't seem to make up your mind
I think you better close it
And let me guide you to the purple rain

Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain

If you know what I'm singing about up here
C'mon, raise your hand

Purple rain, purple rain

I only want to see you, only want to see you
In the purple rain. THE VIDEO BELOW..????????????

????This Amazing Blues Night Is Being Made Available In An Official Release For The First Time...????????????????????????????????????

https://www.youtube.com/watch?...o_laqF8E&sns=sms

         ---------------------------------------------------

On 22 November 1981,in the middle of their Mammoth American Tour.

The Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago,..prior to playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon.

Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Buddy Guy's club ”The Checkerboard Lounge”..to see the legendary bluesman perform.

It didn't take long before Mick Jagger,Keith Richards,Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage.
And later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part.

?It was a Unique Occasion that was fortunately Captured On Camera.

Now,..restored from the original footage, and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain,..this amazing blues night is being made available in an official release for the first time.
                   ------------------------------
?If you just going to see one Youtube-clip in your life and like Blues,..I think you should see this.

Spontaneous ”Jam” of The Rolling Stones (Mick,Keith,Ron),coming in to a club in Chicago,..where Muddy Waters plays.

Muddy Waters is incredible,..and which gung and swing it is ????????.
Keith Richards comes up on stage, gets to borrow a guitar and runs an outrageously solo.

Muddy Waters,Buddy Guy and other stars,..all now plays in heaven instead.

????As always,I find the best experience of listening to these Youtube-videos,..is with good headphones/IEM's.

Enjoy….

We kindly invite you to support ”Playing For Change”.

Our heroes and soul brothers,..Roger Ridley and Grandpa Elliott, return for this Song Around The World.

?”Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”,..featured on our PFC 2 album.

I once asked Roger why, with such a powerful voice like his,..why he was singing on the streets, he replied…
”I am in the joy business,..I come out here to be with the people."

Roger and Grandpa have brought so much joy to the life of millions, and today we are blessed to see them reunited again.
We all shine on and Roger's light is as bright as the sun!!

I’ve been watching a lot of Utopia on youtube recently, came across this gem the other day. I always liked the studio version, but this is a lot better. Seeing the lead and backing vocalists seems to highlight just how good the song and vocals are.

???? FATCAT,....I have never listened to Utopia, there is so much music so you always miss something.

But they were really good,..Thanks for the tip.

Usually I think Live Performance is better,it becomes more sense and dedication,..when the artists have an audience that listens. That's why I love Youtube.

Now I'm not talking about soundquality, because there you can have to looking long,..sometimes for the best video.
I talk about how the artists manage to convey the musical message, the joy and engagement.

According to me,.some of the most important parameters in music.

         ???? Pink... "Me & Bobby McGee" ????

A Kris Kristofferson song,..that Janis Joplin made world famous.

Performed here by the female artist Pink, together with a lone guitarist.
This interpretation of "Me & Bobby McGee" with Pink is probably the closest thing to come Janis Joplin's unforgettable interpretation.

--------------------------------------------------

Lyrics:…????????????

While the music played you worked by candlelight
Those San Francisco nights
You were the best in town
Just by chance you crossed the diamond with the pearl
You turned it on the world
That's when you turned the world around
Did you feel like Jesus
Did you realize
That you were a champion in their eyes
On the hill the stuff was laced with kerosene
But yours was kitchen clean
Everyone stopped to stare at your technicolor motor home
Every A-Frame had your number on the wall
You must have had it all
You'd go to L.A. on a dare
And you'd go it alone
Could you live forever
Could you see the day
Could you feel your whole world fall apart and fade away

[Chorus:]
Get along, get along Kid Charlemagne
Get along Kid Charlemagne

Now your patrons have all left you in the red
Your low rent friends are dead
This life can be very strange
All those dayglow freaks who used to paint the face
They've joined the human race
Some things will never change
Son you were mistaken
You are obsolete
Look at all the white men on the street

[Chorus]

Clean this mess up else we'll all end up in jail
Those test tubes and the scale
Just get them all out of here
Is there gas in the car
Yes, there's gas in the car
I think the people down the hall
Know who you are

Careful what you carry
'Cause the man is wise
You are still an outlaw in their eyes

[Chorus]

Also, a great video for The Heinrich Manoeuvre...
