World Kindness Day

It’s World Kindness Day today. In a world where things can be a bit rubbish, this is something we can all take part in. And of course, it’s not just for one day.

I would add to the last paragraph "and it can be practised every day, all year round".

Sweet concept which perhaps underscores what a shit world we live in, given that a day like this is thought to be necessary.

Unfortunately long forgotten come Black Friday on the 23rd.

Never heard of world kindness day before.

A great idea though and if a few of you with time on your hands are feeling so inclined, then please feel to pop round and clear my gutters and drains of leaves, which are a real pain this time of year, whilst i am out at work.

Much appreciated in advance.

I'm quite sure this is derived from St Martin - which is on November 11 and about sharing things with those in need.

Didn't have much effect on the "Brexit - the final throes...." thread.

It's all right. It was only a day. We can all be mean again.
