My humbug Xmas greetings

My wife came upon this little gem sent from 'The Handsome Family' mailing list. Best gig Mrs W and I have been to for several years. Something about their droll misery just hits the spot with us. We both also dislike/avoid Xmas!

Not the finest recording, or indeed example of what they do well but still priceless!

So have a happy and peaceful few days according to your cultural norm for the time of year.

I'm counting down to New year's eve, far more fun. Having said that, although I'm an OAP l do enjoy the festive season and like to think I'm still young at heart, indeed my wife says I act like a kid sometimes! I'll be told not to make the kids over excited. Christmas is great for families with children, but once they've flown the nest... So, for those with children or those still young at heart, merry Christmas. Rich

B***er the ‘cultural norm’! It’s a Christian (albeit heavily commercialised) festival. You don’t ever see such caveats voiced in respect of Diwali or Hanukkah.
