Tidal Masters for Mobile (Android)

Posted by: Obsydian on 10 January 2019

I've switched to Qubuz, but hate it has no car integration (Car Play or Android Auto), but saw the other day Tidal (which does have full car integration) now allows (or will soon) Masters streaming from an Android mobile, currently only via a web browser and of course not native use of Masters on Naim streamers.

So probably a plus for those also streaming on the go, aside from the MQA debate.

Yeah i spent the afternoon signing up to Tidal HIFI again, but frustratingly cannot download offline.

Anyway streaming wise i think i still prefer Qobuz

So I've now setup Tidal via Bubble UPnP as well, must admit Tidal Masters transcoder to WAV seems to sound fuller, more livelier.

Can you use a Kindle as a control device for Tidal?

Do kindles run on Android?
