Need bookshelf speakers than can be closer to rear wall.

Hello all,

I had to move my system which is 202/hcp/252/nDac/sreaming high rez. I had towers which I had to sell and need something I can put in a wall unit. The shelf is only 13 inches deep.

I demoed some bookshelf classic Spendor which sounded good in store, but a mess at home. Guessing the rear port against the wall.

Any recommendations for something that would work? Budget up to $4000 US.

Thanks in advance. I'm suffering here.

I had the Guru QM10 Mk1s a great little speaker but they blew when being played pretty loud but with a Nap 200 and when I contacted Guru I was told they do not like rooms with high ceilings or to be played at party levels. I know the mk2 improved the tweeter but don't know if they solved the issues mine suffered from however if you do not like playing music at 'party' levels and do not have high ceilings then they are great little speakers with lots of bass for their size.

Mine are the newest versions and I've taken then pretty loud without skipping a beat so far.

10 foot ceilings.
