England 4 - Holland 1

The greatest footballing performance by an England team to teach the Dutch, in the words of their manager, "a lesson in every aspect of the game". We did it at Euro 96.

One hundred and eight...

As we are using tradtional post counting 105 was the one before 106 and after 104.

Personally I was hoping to get to at least 109 before someone cocked it up with poorly or non-counted posts but I think future historian will just skip over this unfortuante section and celebrate the really interesting bit I feel sure is somcing in the late 7300s.

Mr B. you really ought to try it. It's way better than it's cracked up to be.

BTW 112 happens to be the Dutch emergency nr 911 - strange world.

Whatever Geoff. Obviously you might have checked the Padded Cell opening page and seen that the posts tally perfectly (112 was post # 112).

And as far as I'm concerned 1 plus 1 makes 4. It's called inclusive maths

"116 green bottles... " (Sung by a group of English football supporters, somewhere in Turkey).

I think the problem is that the Padded Cell's home page lists the number of replies, not the number of posts. Hence, this is reply 115 but post 116 (I hope).
