Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

No, both are straight. I don't tend to bugger around too much in Photoshop.

It's illuminated on the inside by The Occulus, a massive hole in the roof :-

No, not the Parthenon, the Pantheon.

This is the only structure built in the time of the Roman Empire that remains intact and in fact dates to when dates were still in 'BC'.

For many centuries the world's largest unsupported dome, built out of layers of concrete, which are best appreciated from the outside:

Since AD609 the Pantheon has been used as a Christian Church, Santa Maria dei Martiri (St Mary and the Martyrs).

One day I hope to go.

Me too Scotty. Nice Mallard Smile

Keeping to your water theme......Simple and with fantastic light conditions - Somewhere on the coast near Bodega Bay. You'd have to ask Chris Morton exactly where - Just a stunning coastline:

Kind regards,

Peter

Taken from Derwent Water yesterday with my (T)rusty old Canon IXUS 500. Will be purchasing my first digital SLR soon so quality may improve. The Mountain looks like it has been sprinkled with Icing Sugar.

I have one other photograph from yesterday but is above limit on attachments to post. Much nicer than one above but can't work out how to reduce file size if indeed you can. Sorry.

Download a program called Irfanview free and is widely regarded. On on PC not sure if you are on the other side and whether there is a MAC version. Website does not say.

'Imagewell' does the job simply on a mac.
