Yussef/Cat Stevens

'The Laughing Apple', just released, is very entertaining. I'm a fan from 60s/70s, and some of the tracks are unreleased from then, and others from the now 72 year old. I had read an unfavourable review, but I bought (24 bit download) anyway and I'm glad I did. If you ever liked his stuff, buy this and enjoy!

Ok, it's Friday. He is 69, not 72, and the correct spelling is 'Yusef'. Apart from that, enjoy!

Cousins making Turkey dinner last year I put on Teaser and The Firecat.  Jed was amazed at the sound (of course superior electronics) then said every song here was a hit and played often on radio.  I'd just arrived in coastal California at 16, Beatles divorced and there was Cat Stevens and Elton John stepping right up to fill the void.

I met him a few years ago. Nice chap but his breath stinked of old fish. And his whiskers grazed when he gave me a big hug.

I don't see how anyone who supported a call for the murder of an author for the crime of writing a book that the dictator of a foreign state happened to disagree with can be called a "nice chap" but different strokes for different strokes for different folks, I suppose.
