Hi! Today after a nice listening session, I realized that the right speaker channel of my Supernait 2 starts to give a "distortion buzz" through the speaker. It is really quite audible and after a while, it disappears. If I swap the speaker cables, the other speaker now on the right channel, the same occurs. Hi all, Current set-up: NDX, SN2, US, pmc25.23 with Superlumina ic ,2x PL and naca5. I'm hoping to one day end up with 282&250 and perhaps XPS. This will have to be small gradual steps over perhaps 2-3 years. Would you start with a HCdr for the SN or chrome bumper 250(Using SN as a pre) In other words, which of the above would give the best uplift in sound before the other ? Would the 250 do a much better job at driving speakers 86.5db ? I do push the speakers a bit with volumes often...

I currently have a dedicated mains from a circuit breaker to a single dual Hubbell outlet allowing for 2 components both using Powerlines. I will soon need additional outlets and can have an electrician wire a second Hubbell outlet in series to the first and hence have 4 or purchase a power distribution unit such as an Audience aR6 Adept Response PDC for Naim or some other brand such as IsoTek which I believe is also a "power conditioner". Last night my 252 started switching inputs all on it's own. At first, I thought perhaps the remote battery was dying and acting wonky... so I removed the batteries. The phenomenon continued. I have bought a Naim Atom for my son,..now I have also bought a pair of Naim Allae in mint condition to him. It was a price that I could not resist ????. I've never heard Naim Allae playing with an Atom,..but they are at 6 ohm,89 db in sensitivity and stable. In other words,..they "dips" not so much at loads. They seem to be an easy "load" for an amplifier. Can this work for my son and his girlfriend,..they don't play so high as they have a little girl who is 1 year old. Asking for I have not...

There seems to be an opinion that SBLs are better than Allaes, I currently have Allaes and I’m very happy with them however the price of SBLs on the market are really cheap, is it it worth getting a pair, I have never heard them? Nick

Hello, i want to connect a non naim headphone amp (bryston) to my supernait 2. The SN2 is powered with a hicap dr. All digital sources are connected to my NDX which is connected with a din highline to the cd input of the SN2. The only other input used on the SN2 is the RCA HDD for my phononamp. What is the best way to make the connection ? Thanks !

Hi all, Long term lurker here requiring some advice. My local dealer is selling a brand new 2018 model of the ND5 XS at a reasonable price which is very tempting. As this model will be superseded by the forthcoming XS2 iteration, will Naim now cease support for the ND5 XS completely? Is it a risky move buying an historic product? Thanks in advance

Hi, today my system consists of a NAC 272 with XPS DR, NAP 300 (non DR) and Superline with HiCap DR adding a Rega RP 10. Ive got a Star with a 250. Ive been using them for a good while. Im getting a NDX 2 in a few weeks (ready for me at dealers but I'm gonna be away so no immediate install).
