read on here recently about the rma scheme, who issues the tracking number, and also is the customer able to get information about items being repaired or is it the dealer, i only ask as i presume my n-vi will be back to naim shortly for repair.

No 5.1 from HD box?? Last night for no apparent reason I lost 5.1 sound from my HD box ,the sound is fed via an optical lead to an amp ,which on all other channels is o.k. apart from Sky Movie channels & of course any HD channel, calling $ky was a joke,they took me through all the usual routine of disconnecting form the mains & HDMI cable ,they kept insisting I was getting no 5.1 becuase of a faulty HDMI cable ,but I have tried the component cable with the same result ,anyone else had this...

Can anyone tell me what the output sample rates are from the spdif connectors?Had a look in the manual - couldn't find it specified.Is everything taken down to 16bit 44.1KHz?Will it output stereo 24bit 192KHz?Thx,Martin

I am thinking of changing around the living space and putting my HiFi speakers either side of the LCD TV.Would the speakers have to be magnetically shielded to enable this, i.e.to prevent picture degradation or does this CRT 'rule' not apply to LCD TV's?
