why does my muso keep switching from analogue, digital and radio whilst playing my tv through the speaker.

Well, that’s a few hours of my life I won’t get back, but at least I’ve saved myself a whole bunch of cash! Hi, I've already opened a support ticket for this, but I am curious if there are other people who experience the same issue? Since a month or two, the volume slider in the Naim app always jumps back to the setting where it was when I opened the app. The volume on my Atom doesn't change with it, so the slider setting and the actual volume on the Atom are out of sync. I have to close and re-open the app to get the slider back in sync, but then that's the new setting where it will jump back to...

My Muso seems to be working just fine but the white power and volume light are flashing on and off, I've tried removing and re-adding the Naim app. Powered off the Router and switch it is connected to to no avail. Also tried discovering room manually which does state the white flashing light should go out but nothing happens Thoughts?

I've recently bought a UnitiStar, my first venture into streaming. It is connected via wifi to a new VirginMedia Hub3. This morning, I had Radio2 on internetradio, but it was virtually unlistenable as it kept dropping out. It wasn't a problem with the wifi signal as far as I can tell, and all other iradio stations were fine, as was Tidal. There was a similar thread a year or so ago with people experiencing similar issues specifically with Radio2, and I wondered if there is anything I can do...

iRadio / vTuner is a bit of a car crash this morning, All of the Naim's Choice stations are off & its slow to connect, slow to fill buffer, to all the other stations. Anyone else having the same ???

Naim Uniti was working fine until an hour ago. I switched from CD to iRadio - no problem. I then used the remote to switch from the iRadio station to a DAB station. Nothing happened. The display read, "Please Wait". I tried an FM preset; same thing. "Please Wait". I then turned off the mains power for a couple of minutes and powered it back on. The display now read, "Fault 10", and I can't access anything, not even the CD and iRadio which were working. Any ideas? Thanks. D.

Five years old, no problems save for a dud CMOS battery on motherboard 2 years ago. It’s the 2TB HDD version, and has ripped approx. 3,000 cds since new. Last night I went to insert a disc into the slot- the machine ‘grabbed’ it as usual, but failed to take it in completely. After about 30 seconds of unusual bursts of ticking the disc was ejected as normal. I tried a couple of other discs with the same result. I powered down and restarted, but symptoms remained the same. Hi, wondering if anyone has a Naim streamer linked to an SN2 or XS2 amp via RC5 and is able to control the volume of the amp from within the Spotify app? I know you can do this within the Naim app itself. I ask as having got used to using the Naim Atom spotify and Chromecast audio this way, my next move is likley going to be to add an ND5 XS2 and SN2/XS2 and I'd like to keep this feature if possible. Guessing too soon for ND5 XX2 users to add in any thoughts but likewise would be interesting...

Have seen questions asked, so seemed worth posting. Have just added NAP100 to a UQ2. Wow, excellent upgrade. Used RCA to DIN. Speakers are old Celestion 12Si. Great combination. Upnp & Tidal sources.

Hi, I've Nova which replaced a UnitiLite last week and ND5 XS in another room, both using wired connections, and LIV Zen NAS. With the UnitiLite I never had any problems at all with NAS disappearing. Now the only way to get it back is to switch NAS off/on again each time. But as soon as I use Tidal or radio, its gone again, from both lite and nova. Any ideas at all please?

Is it just me, or does the new Linn streamer range have (at the very least) a passing similarity with the Uniti range, not least the “innovative “ rotary volume control on the top of the player??

Hi This Post is not about hifi but I am hoping someone can help. My son has suffered a stroke and is going to be in hospital for some time. In the first hospital he could listen to internet radio and watch Sky tv using the sky go app. This I am sure helped him stay positive. I really like my Uniti Star, but I have a few suggestions that should be implemented, you are welcome to post your own :) 1. Ability to set the display off (I don't need to see the screen at all when watching TV for example) 2. Ability to rip selected songs of a CD. 3. Ability to configure my Apple TV remote to the Uniti (it worked on the old Uniti, but not with the Star) I will post some more later...

As I'm ripping on dBPoweramp, accurate rip has gone from 2 to 1 and now for the last disc, no accurate rip information and no metadata. I would have expected this data to be in the ether by now. It seems unusual that people would just have ripped some but not all CDs? .sjb

I have noticed that I have to turn the gain up a little more to achieve the same volume on my muso. Any other user noticed similar effect?

Hi all. I am thinking about getting a Uniti Star since I rather enjoyed its sound when I had a demo. However I have a few questions before I pull the plug please. Hope you can help. Does Star offer sound quality which is just or at least almost as good as one of Naim's integrated amps in the similar price bracket? Can it drive a subwoofer as well (BK XXLS400)? decided to get a new NAS drive for my music library and then I can use the ReadyNAS as a NAS for other data. I currently use UnitiServe/SSD to rip and to serve. I don't really want to change that right now. could you guys point me to a set of instructions on how to safely move my music files from ReadyNAS to the new Synology. many thanks enjoy/ken
