In the new app version for android the following problem still exists: Start the naim app Choose UPnP Navigate to a sub folder play a track from this folder return to the android "desktop". So the naim app gets into the background. Turn off the display of the android device. Turn on the display again. Open the naim app again. => You see the UPnP folder that was opened before. hi all, recently bought an Atom. I’ve been so impressed with it that I want to move it to my main room where I spend most time. The thing is, I always have two sets of speakers in this room as it’s a living room and kitchen and sometimes I have both pairs on. I really like this option at at times. So I was wondering, if I were to buy the Nap 100 and and plug into the pre-out would I notice a delay on the 2nd pair of speakers. I’m presently using an a Arcam a39 which has 2 outputs built in...

Hello All I downloaded the new Naim Ap from the apple store. Its a big improvement for me. I am not familiar with anything buy the previous version. Its a lot better. It shows the album covers in color which is nice. I did a search and it worked for me, but I do have nice internet speed. I have not tried to control anything, just select music. System is a Unity Core and and NDX. Bailyhill

Either an album will start playing not in order and it will always stop the song a few seconds before it is supposed to end when I play Tidal through the Naim App. I have the Uniti Atom for months now and this problem started only a few weeks ago. And it does not go away. I have reinstalled all software and the problem remains. What should I do?

I am a little unhappy with my Uniti Core. It’s done a beautiful job of ripping, but now that I’ve graduated from absolute novice I see it’s limitations. It doesn’t do subscription services like Tidal or Primephonic, etc. It doesn’t do Roon. And I’m having problems with it. Hi there, I've had a muso qb a while now and after much contact with naim, i'm still experiencing severe sync issues when watching TV, You tube on my iPhone 6s, iPad pro etc, i've tried blu tooth and airplay but the qb is unusable. I have a Bang an Olfsen blu too speaker that syncs perfectly, so i'm a little surprised the muso doesn't work perfectly too. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers

I'm interested in the new NDX2 streamer and the Uniti core. I'm presuming I can serve files from the Uniti Core through the inbuilt DAC of the NDX2? How would this compare ( quality wise ) to a dedicated DAC? I've read some criticism that the NDX2 isn't worth considering because of the lack of MVQ compatibility. I would love to hear your thoughts. One last thing how would the NXD2 compare to my CD5si player, quality wise?

All of a sudden I cannot search the music stored on my Qnap NAS (running minimserver) from within the Naim app. There is a line under the search box which reads ‘Search: Local Music’. I don’t recall this being there before but I can’t find a setting to change it. Any thoughts?

Hello, I am 49 years old and new to this forum because i am looking forward to buy a Naim Uniti unit. So my newbie questions are, what are the exact differences between Star and Nova soundwise and technical? Currently I am using a Linn Majik DSM and want to switch to the Naim world. I am in the process of "moving on" my XS2 and ND5XS -- with a view to get an SN2 and Chord Qutest as replacement. Unless I change my mind of course... I've been through a few Novas this year. The first two were clearly faulty and I didn't get a chance to listen to them properly. The third one was with me from mid-April until mid-September and it sounded reasonably good to my cloth ears. But not outstanding. I have two different Naim N-272’s on different systems in my house. I’ve noticed in using them that the FM Seek Lock function works differently between these units. On one of the units the Seek Lock function can only pull in two stations when set to Medium. I have to turn it to High to find my regular stations. I keep getting a situation where when playing music on my Uniti over upnp, it keeps on dropping out. I have a wireless connection between the uniti and the router. I have tried a variety of servers, including the server within the router itself and the attached NAS drive. It stops playing, sometimes going back to the beginning of the album or track. I must say so far the app on both IOs and Android is solid, my preference is always Android and it is great to see whoever Naim has hired has brought the Android app aesthetically to a polished state, everything is a little bigger as well which helps. Discovery is quicker, very quick, I like the lobby look of all items discovered, rather than before opening the Naim app fired up the Nova and then would struggle.
