If I download hi-res files (FLAC) and then transfer them to a USB memory stick, can I then just pop it into the HDX and play them? Do the files need to go into a special folder in the stick (e.g., "Music")?

hello, i have a samba server providing shares for /home/me [homes] and /home/me/hdx [hdx]. but when scanning the network my hdx only lists server\ and not the two shares separately. how can i setup my hdx to use the hdx share only? thanks a lot, michael

Lossless is supposed to auto-detect stereo or mono files when ripping. There is no option to choose stereo or mono as there is with the other formats. Yet when I rip a mono recording in Lossless and look at the summary of the file, it says stereo....
