Streaming Audio

So the Atom has this beautiful screen to display cover art and info yet for 99% of time it only displays just the artwork. In all the picture you see of it it shows using the full screen for the artwork and track/artist info. I take it something changed come release as you cant display anything like they show. Any way its a shame the display is not used to its full ability. I for one would like to see the track/artist info especially when I am trying out new playlists on streaming services.

Following the death of my iPod I have bought myself a nice treat-a new Astell and Kern AK70 MkII (and incidentally also some Grado 325e 'phones). Very fine sounding components they are too. Does anyone have a recommendation for a iPhone DLNA/upnp app to control an SoTM SMS-200 unit in DLNA/UPNP mode (some apps like MPad/Mpod are apparently defunct now, looking for apps compatible with latest iOS). My last forum question was answered so quickly and expertly, I've decided to try again. I've discovered that my UnitiCore does a good job of finding metadata and cover art for ripped CDs. It occasionally has problems with older classical and obscure popular CDs. I've just unboxed my brand new UnitiCore and installed it onto my network, updated the firmware and now want to restore my Music Library from the LQ and MQ directories which were the backup directories of my old UnitiServe. Hi, I'm experiencing momentary (1-2 seconds) pauses of music every 20-30 seconds using ipad air as the controlling device. When I switch to listening through the ipad itself not experiencing any issue, it just plays continuously. It doesn't matter if I'm streaming in normal (160 kbit/s) or extreme (320 kbit/s) quality. Hello folks, Received my Qb some days ago and tried to set it up through the android app. Which proved to be impossible due to a very annoying bug: the wifi list from which you're expected to pick your home network is empty. Luckily I managed to power up an old iPad and setup the wifi with it, but I guess android only users are pretty stuck with this app version.

Has anyone tried a Naim Powerline on Uniti Core to better the sound quality ? ! I have about 1250cds ripped To Uniti Core and I play them through Naim NDS/555DR. Just curious if anyone has tried it and if they noticed any difference in SQ.

So I've had the Star for a few weeks, this time the glass hasn't fallen off the bottom and my now 3 year old hasn't poked his finger in the center of the speaker (grilles on) but it's just spat out the last 3 CDs I've tried to rip. After switching to streaming a year ago, and having auditioned 272/250 combo and ND5XS, I decided the latter was a better path for me, sounded great with Nait XS2 / Flatcap XS already have... Hello, Uniti Core latest firmware. All of a sudden the .wav files in downloads folder and files have ceased to be seen in albums using the app. Also I'm unable to open the downloads folder (using windows 10) to add additional .wav files and folders. "Network error. Windows cannot access \\UNITICORE430698\Downloads" the network name cannot be found. Hi everyone, There was a thread on this but I didn't understand it properly. My MusoqB has giant problems with dropouts no matter how I configure my wireless network. What will an ethernet connection do to solve this? If I hard wire it, will it only solve my problems with internet radio? I also want to play iTunes over a wifi network from my phone or iPad. Does an ethernet do anything in that case?

I downloaded Asset on a Mac Mini as Twonky on my WD NAS was not playing certain hi-res downloads from Qobuz - tracks listed but lengths of 0'0'' if you tried to play. Same with Asset so something up with the AIFF download. I've had many, many issues with my original Atom since receiving to after on release date. 5-6 months in and numerous calls, e-mails etc including rebuilding my home network, my Dealer and Naim agreed to swap the unit for a new one. I find this quite frustrating and don't really know the best way to approach it. Appreciate the metadata is key, but there are many problems. Do you tend to search via Composer, Artist or something else. If you look at say Artist/Album then a single album with more than 1 work or more than 1 composer's work often seems to get split into different artists, perhaps these need to be tagged as 'compilations'? If I rip titles I tend to manually store by Artist/Album but this doesn't work for...
