Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks Steve, I am amazed I got so close. There I was snapping some flowers when I heard her 'whistle' behind me. I turned around and she was only a few feet away. I like the curve of the leaf reflecting the curve of the beak etc.

Funnily enough (you will be pleased to know) it has been bucketing down here for 5 days on the trot - astonishing lightening storms all night lighting up the sea for miles and torrential rain during the day - the blue in the photo is a tad enhanced.

I used Picasa 3 for a minute just to boost the colour a bit as it was a bit of a grey day (possibly I over did it a bit too). Anyway, you are very welcome to have the original if you want it. I have loads of this boat sailing by.
