Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

On the beach at low tide outside outside our house - it is a Egret I think.

Nice shot. Steve, how do you find the D800? I've head that it's a pretty remarkable DSLR.

Was that Brundle's car?

Posted on: 24 June 2012 by Tony Lockhart

Sorry, Jamie, I can't help there. On my other photos of this car, there's no mention of either the current or original driver, which is unusual. I think the current driver's surname is Wills.

Hi Kevin

I'm quite new to photography, so I can't comment on the more advanced aspects of the D800. I'm guessing it's the opposite of the M9 as everything about it seems to be on the massive side:

- with a 24-70mm lens, it weighs close to 2kg

- a single raw file is 75MB and JPEGs can be up to 25MB

- optimal print size is about 24x16 inches.

I've been having a lot of fun with it.
