Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Do you know what it is yet?
Is it a Graf?
Jose Ramirez?

Like the stairwell picture Kevin. I wanna go see the Italian Job bus too. Sounds like a great idea...
Cheers. What did you do to get those great colours in "Cracked it!"? I presume something in LR or Photoshop?

Hah..! If only...
It's something I've wanted to try for years and finally got round to it.
Using an IR filter you can cut out a lot of visible light.
Trouble is most modern cameras have very good IR blockers so piss all actually gets through. However, I have an old Nikon D70s now amongst the herd and these let through a fair bit of IR light. So one problem solved.
However, then you just get very red pictures
So, you have to figure out how to set the white balance
This then gives you a less red picture but still red
So then you have to figure out how to adjust and mix colours given photoshop elements doesn't have a channel mixer!
Then you adjust hue, saturation etc. just so
Then you realise it's out of focus 'cos Infrared travels at extreme wavelength and not all modern lenses have IR focus points so you have to start again!
Then you have to re-learn aperture vs exposure with the dark filter
Then realise you really need to put the camera on a tripod because exposures are getting pretty long
Then the battery runs out
Then after lots of research and lots of trial and error you get something like:

It is the inside of a very nicely made 6-string dreadnought guitar. Scalloped braces and no glue runs. The soundboard looks to be a reasonable grade of spruce, but what are the back and sides made of?
It was a Gibson picture I used.
Great shot Tony.
Yep, I've tried it on x100 briefly too, definitely works but need to take it out properly and hopefully will in next few days as the Sun's about now. Show us your results if it does it's thing!
The Barstards! The have discovered the greener grass!
I spent the first half of my life so far on a farm!
