Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Is there away of getting rid of the stuff at the right hand side of screen, the comments etc.

Or can the administrators get rid of it on this thread. I know a larger image can be viewed by right clicking, but it's a pain doing it for every picture.

FC, sorry, but not possible at the moment.

Guess it's a hifi forum rather than photo posting one! Still, wasted screen space applies across the board I feel...

Many of us now use flickr to host so if you click on pic you will see it in flickr which is larger (and slightly better quality). It also allows you to view image in all sorts of sizes.

Ah you need a Mac with a touch pad running OSX Lion or higher

If you then double tap in the area of the photo it zooms to fill the screen. A second double tap zooms back out again.

Here's a couple to practice on:

Hiking in the Dolomites

I do. And I have a glorious head of purple sprouting broccoli. Not to mention a pair of huge marrows.
