Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I do. And I have a glorious head of purple sprouting broccoli. Not to mention a pair of huge marrows.

Well, when you get round to posting a pic...Until then;

Just a quick heads up for Canon DSLR users...I accidentally discovered a useful update of Digital Photo Professional on Canon's website.

The update now includes something called DLO 'Digital Lens Optimiser'. This is something now included in Canon's new higher DSLRs and you can dial in the lens you are using and it tunes the image, automatically reducing any CA and things.

Well it's actually in DPP now too, so whatever DSLR you use, you can add the lenses you have (if on the list) and at the click of a button it 'corrects' the stuff that needs correcting PP rather than in camera.

Once update is downloaded, in the tool palette you will see there are now 4 tabs on the top, the 4th being 'lens'. Click on that and then update and it gives you a list of lenses available for downloading.

And it works! Very handy. There's quite a few lenses on the list already and a bit of research said there will be more added.

Lol thanks guys, it's easy to take nice pics when surrounded by beautiful "scenery"....

Only bad thing here is the closest thing to a record shop or HiFi store is London Drugs.

Jamie i've looked at your Flickr page as well. Tons of great shots and also noticed you've been to Cuba.

Havana is a great city to visit and photograph...

Where is that BH?

Posted on: 01 October 2012 by Bananahead

It's Besancon in France. Last year we got a TGV line and now a tram line.

Besancon - I used to work for Stanley Mabo there... brings back happy memories of a very friendly place.

Not that anyone on this forum needed or wanted to know that!

What a stunning picture. This should be printed onto large scale canvas and hung as a work of art.

guys,

I know this is a Naim forum, but I have to say that there are a number of its members that are posting a lot of photos on the site.

These images are amazing and I must say it gives real enjoyment looking at the images while listening to the hifi.

Keep up the good work presenting such iconic images
