Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Happy with this one I just took this evening, just his bedroom ceiling light, no flash, f1.4, ISO 1000....

Now I just need to cut and paste the background.

Both Smiling, at the same time!

Very cute Jamie - nice light too.

No, but hopefully in the spring I will.

Untouched. The farce of digital photography.

Count,

I quite like the red cast around the first image. It kind of draws your eye in. Great sky and hazy sun.

D3?

Hi Kevin. This is interesting. Is it a self portrait? Hope you enjoyed your birthday.

Hi Graham, no it isn't a selfie, it's my mate Steve - I managed to make sure I was nowhere to be seen in the pic. Here's another one - again, it's not a self-portrait and I'm nowhere to be seen (actually you can just see me standing behind the photographer's shoulder):

Thanks for your birthday wishes - I had a great time, a long boozy lunch followed by a Radiohead gig followed by... well, I got back at 3am and am feeling very rough today!
