Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

A good point Cbr but you know what it's like with boys and their toys. Besides they're all lovely cameras which I would love to own.

agreed ( and i am sure they are the photographic equivalent of Naim, so hellish expensive but top of the range stuff to be proud of)
Got this recently, but haven't used it much yet as I'm mainly shooting in film at the moment. Ordered the new APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH - it's at least a six-month wait!
The D800 can't have felt too good having to photograph its rival.
You lucky blighter Steve!
Like the pics on your Flickr stream you've taken with it. How are you finding it? Have you used a manual focus rangefinder before?
Ratatouille?
It's got Basil in it.
Just for a link to flickr
I quite like that face Graeme. What is a bit distracting is top of the head just visible behind the figure on the right.

Thanks Kevin. This is my first manual focus rangefinder and it was quite frustrating to use at first, but it became a piece of cake once I figured out how to use the hyperfocal distance scale.
It takes a bit of practice to use the Monochrom effectively - you have to look for a different type of image than if you were shooting in colour. Whether it's better than shooting in colour then converting to mono is debatable - lots of argument on the internet on that point. There's a guy named Kristian Dowling who uses the Monochrom a lot. He shoots everything at ISO1,600 as he reckons it looks more film-like while still retaining detail.
Kevin Graeme, thank you. This was from Venice's Carnival some years ago for my last time when I decided not to go there for some years anymore:beautiful city but always too busy.I personnally make the head and the face in my pic both desappear.
Taken two weekends ago, by my father: the Dwight D. Eisenhower, Dominion of Canada and Mallard meeting each other in Shildon, for a reunion with night photo opportunities. The A4s were the most beautiful steam engines ever built IMO - a rare opportunity to see three of them together, all in British Railway Green. The Eisenhower is about to be cleaned-up in York, the Dominion about to receive a new, Garter-blue, paint job. All in honour of the Mallard's world speed record, 75 years ago next year.
Cheers,
EJ
