Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

LOL. It's actually quite fascinating to watch- your pour hot water on the dried flowers and they open up. Lovely.

This isn't one of mine, but I thought some members - Guido F especially - might like this.

Kevin, just looking back at a few of your photos!

Theres a definate food and drink theme emerging.

perhaps you should publish a 24 hour series of photos titled " my typical food day", or my menu for the day!

Hi Paul

I actually top up my income from journalism and non-income from writing with a bit of commercial photography - mostly of food and drink! That said, food is always interesting to photograph - I recently had a big birthday dinner in Paris and the food was so exquisitely presented I wished I'd been able to photograph it.

The "My typical food day" is a really good idea, although I'd have to be careful which day I chose, as I tend to consume a lot of junk!

"Junk......" Hmmmmm. Yum. Creative pics of junk food might be far more interesting and 'pop'? Tony.

But there are only so many ways you can creatively photograph a doner kebab Tony

This looks like a challenge to all you other contributors to this photo thread. Who can provide the best image of a doner kebab?

Not much - if any - meat in a doner Tony, so you should be fine...
