Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Just to be a tease, I'll be interested if anyone on here does know where it was taken.
It's not a light tube.

Let me know where to send my address so that you can ship me the NDS that I won in your contest.
Thanks a lot! Great contest!! Can't wait for my NDS.
Correct!
NDS enclosed.

This is from the Vietnam War Memorial: Women's memorial in Washington. I found it very powerful.
Looking south east across the Severn valley toward Cheltenham from the Malvern Hills this morning.
The water hazard off the first tee is now a bit of a bastard...
The only birdie you will get there is a Duck !
Boom tish!

Tony,
Is this an old photo, or are you snowbound?
Taken yesterday. The high fells are all covered in snow, but just very cold here in Keswick.
Does that mean we need to look at buying sledges soon?

I will look out for this in the south lakes on my way to Barrow tomorrow morning.

Jono,
Really nice image. Looks like you could almost get the ski's strapped on !
Beautiful day for a long walk today
I climbed to the top of the Pic de Courmettes. About the same height as Ben Nevis I'm told.
From here you can see Corsica in one direction and the Alps in the other. And loads of snow. Fantastic.
Hardraw Force this afternoon. Glorious, and dangerous today with icicles 80ft up deciding to release their grip on the overhanging cliffs.

Breathtaking view !!
