Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Impressive detailing, like the rusty image

This is one of my all-time favourite photos.

She was more interested in hunkering down on a joint of meat!

Very nice Don - looks like you've mastered it now.

Somehow I managed to copy the above picture from Flickr - don't ask me how, I was just "doodling"

This time there is a link back to the Flickr web-site so you can at least see the un-distorted version of the picture and the others I posted earlier - I have noticed quite a few pictures posted on the Forum by others are distorted.

Cheers

Beautiful. Went for a walk this afternoon with Mrs D. A month or so of steady rain, punctuated by frequent downpours, has rendered most of the woodland leaves to a brown quagmire.

Nice to see what they might have previously looked like.

Once you've uploaded pic to flickr, it's not immediately apparent how to post on this forum, so;

click on 'share', 'Grab the HTML/BBCode', then click the 'HTML' button and copy the text in the box.

Then when posting reply in forum, click on 'HTML' in top right corner of the Post Reply window and paste the text you've saved and add your own text.

Although I have managed to link a couple of pictures to Flickr, they have been serendipitous.

The "HTML" code is usually about 4 or 5 lines long in Flickr, is this about right ?

Also, the "HTML" icon in the Naim Reply box Top right corner leads to a two-page menu, with no obvious place to "paste" the HTML link, at least not on the first page, and not really on the second page either.

Any suggestions ?

Cheers

Don

Well the number of lines of code is right. The HTML button for me just brings up a slightly different looking reply window and I just paste into that.

As Sandy said, if you grab the BBCode instead, you can just paste that into the normal reply window instead which is easier.

Thanks Jamie,

I just tried the BBC link above.

When I pasted the hypertext link, into the  Forum "Post Reply" box only the words appeared - no picture. But when I pressed the "Submit Reply" button (at the bottom of the reply box) the the post appeared in the thread, complete with picture and the hyperlink text. But no link back to flickr.

Not perfect but nonetheless, thanks for helping out again.

Cheers

Don

PS, I managed to edit out the hyperlink text
