Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Someone always goes too far!
As your forum namesake was known for a full head of hair I think not.
If your forum name was frankenstein.m for example,
our guesses would have been different!

No spiders resident yet then Andy?
I remember in spite of the fact that they must have been deaf they took up residence in my dad's piano presumably delighted with the ready made scaffolding on which to construct a web.

Geoff

I was contemplating doing a Mick Parry and buying a guitar.....but do I have the perseverance to learn it?
Anyway, off topic for this thread.
Cheers

Real nice the way the foreground has been illuminated. Stops them being "just another fireworks photo".

Shades of Nick Roeg's 'Walkabout'?? Same place?
Posted on: 13 August 2008 by bazz
James, that's Wangi Falls. I haven't seen Nick Roeg's movie, but I think it was shot in that area, so very likely.
There's a few such places in the middle of vast tracts of billygoat country, Great for a dip, no crocs.
Here's another.

What lens is it? Great photos - esp the second one.

It's my 'lens for the rest of my life', a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS. It's way better than me!

Tony
Superb shots (fancy camera/ lens combo or not) - from my computer screen it appears that you've managed to capture the eyes pin sharp which for wildlife shots is alot of what it's about. Really well done!
