Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

My avatar is a poster of Frank Zappa I had as a teenager.

If you take a look at the image info of your photo, the image size is 2,494px, which has been scaled down to 490px. Photos that I and others post seem to be 800px scaled to 490px.
Not sure why my image host is presenting an image of 800px to the forum, but it must either be due to the fact I selected to downscale during upload to imageshack, or imageshack downscaled to 800px automatically when uploading to forum.
Obviously and to be expected, the software used by an image host is making a far better job of scaling by such a large factor than the software used by Hoop.la
Hi Fatcat,
Thanks for your input. Oddly the forum photo looks better on my iPad than the Macbook Pro.

Lovely B&W Jamie.
I agree Fabio. This is the best of the steam train series.
