Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Winky,
a lovely series of photos. the "work" you have done on them really looks great. Could frame them and show then as a series of artworks.
I think you're being a bit kind. I'm just playing with some HDR processing software. The cartoony, video-game look is kind-of interesting for a while but I'm not sure I'd hang them on the wall.
Winky,
Absolutely not, the details give a feel of real texture and earthiness. Very impressive.
Send me the files and approval to use them. I would happily print and display them !

We are the lower and largest of the 3 dots, Curiosity rovers view from Mars:-
Probably a "fake" from a planetarium programme, but I like the idea of it being real.

Winter light in North Yorkshire, late afternoon. Pretty much straight out of the camera (with some minor cropping).

Where in North Yorkshire Kevin? Also aren't you a long way from home today!
Graham.
That was taken in Grewelthorpe, a village about 8 miles from Ripon, Graham. We spent New Year there (am back in London now).
I noticed from your profile that you used to be a pro photographer. I would love to see some examples of your work
Yes Kevin used to be a pro until about 1983 / 4 . However I have never worked in the digital medium. In fact I do not own a digital camera. Not sure how to convert my old neg's / slides to digital for posting. Do you get up to Yorkshire often? My daughter lives in the East End near Mile End tube station. Would love to met up sometime and talk.
Regards Graham.

I go up to Yorkshire about four or five times a year, a former Mrs K lives up there. Otherwise, next time you're down here in the Smoke, drop me a line and we can meet up.
