Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks Count and CBR. That's an old one..!

It was taken with a regular DSLR (a Nikon D70s) with an R72 filter on the lens. The D70 doesn't have as strong an IR filter as some cameras so it's quite well suited.

To get the blue skies, swap red and blue channels and there you go...

Most of the hard work is during the shot itself, in figuring out the exposure and aperture with a bit of trial and error

It's the photographer, not the camera , that counts Jamie

Too technical for me, but a super end result

Its the super-high quality from yourself, jamie, Winky, Count.d and Sandy8 that's putting us all to shame, well myself anyway!

But please keep on posting Kevin (and the rest) because there are some really fabulous pictures in these last ten pages or so and I suspect more to come !

cheers

Thanks Don - most kind! I was wondering if this had become a "dead" thread...
