Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Correct Haim! Took this one with the 300 two months ago when even at noon the sun barely cleared the mountains. By the way, the D600 is now back at Nikon for a little TLC after developing a few spots on the sensor...
Well, I hope that the cleaning lady at Nikon does a thorough job with your new camera. My Polish nicknames for Nikon's latest FX models are Spotsky for the D600 (oil spots on sensor) and Softsky for the D800 (left AF bank focusing issues).
Yep, hoping they get it fixed right the first time as it's a bit of a pain for me to get to the Nikon depot now that i've moved away from the city. How did you know i'm polish?
Looks bloody cold...
Only -7 or so that day Jamie, the fog makes it look colder than it actually was...I used to live in Winnipeg, now that was cold!
I can believe it.
Years ago we went Skiing in Tremblant. Coldest was about - 25C + windchill factor coming downhill!!!!
Who says February has rubbish weather?

...and later in the day at Brighton, iPhone 4s pic:-
Sniper, me likey, doubleplusgood!
Kevin-W,
Thanks. Yes, she is rather compelling. She has 9 siblings and there is another on the way. They all live huddled together in a little shack with no toilet and no electricity. This is the reality of the Roman Catholic third world. They are not the largest family I know of either. Heartbreaking really.

Very sad. The RC church could do an awful lot to help alleviate poverty, but it - or perhaps more properly, its cretinously dogmatic leadership - chooses to make the problem worse.
The most unwieldy zimmer I've ever seen.
LOL
