Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Typically evil looking moggie Jamie!

Aha, I got the same, tag end of last year.
Although used to be 35mm photographer and have used many smaller sensor cameras and previously had the 7D, it's like having to re-learn everything again, especially framing felt because I still try and get the framing right in shot where I can and somehow it's just different on FF (not just the obvious sensor scale). Partly because it's such a capable camera I end up really pushing my expectations and sometimes have to reign myself in a bit...
So new camera and this evening I had to do a photo shoot. The theme was "Calendar Girls". Thankfully they were all lovely ladies and I was much more nervous than they were..

Jamie, you try moving from an SLR or DSLR to a rangefinder. Now that's re-learning!
Thank's Kevin
I use a Fuji X100 a lot which is rangefinder like and still have several 35mm rangefinders. In fact I loaded up my Ricoh with some Kodak T-Max only the other day. I have to say I find the low light focussing difficult and still a pain on older rangefinders. The Fuji on the other hand being a modern day update of the genre, without the drawbacks, is great!
Nice wheel shot Kevin. G
I miss July.
Not so much "nice", but 45 amazing photos from WW II & shortly thereafter:
That's a fantastic link. Thanks for that.
Thanks for the link DrM, really great photos, you could spend agood long time looking t these images that evoke many emotions.
Photo 30 could be a Naim research room !
Will have to go back and give the images some real long time viewing to appreciate the shots
Paul
Superbly evocative (if occasionally harrowing) photos Dr Mark, thanks for posting such a great link.
Nice wheel shot Kevin. G
Cheers G - just done with a little point-and-shoot.
Just like Cambridgeshire...
