Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks, Ian. Weather and time permitting, I try to take pictures every week. The N&N (Naim & Nikon) are my essential keys to recharge the soul.

Thanks, I do my best. Knowing the weather has been so atrocious in the UK I just like to remind people what summer looks like, although it is like this all year round here and there are no seasons to speak of other than a change in rainfall. It has not rained for the best part of 4 months and my garden has suffered but it has started to rain at night now and already flowers are bursting out everywhere and the grass is turning green again. A few mornings ago there was the most jaw dropping astonishingly beautiful sun rise I have ever seen but sadly my camera was being repaired in Manila.
I used the 'Sunset' scene setting on my camera for these photos but I think it is a little heavy handed but I guess I need a tripod for really good sunset photos.
Thats more like it jamie.
And yet you still make a dull and grey image look good !
So Kevin, the abbey road series of photos are coming o an nd fter several werks of drip feeding us some wonderful photos.
Wher will the next series come from?

Haven't done too much shooting recently as I have been working like a dog, to quote Mr Lennon. Took some pics last month in Kent and around Tower Hill in London, so might do those next...
Really enjoyed seeing the plethora of bakalite knobs ![]()
