Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

What do you think of the new Flickr Jamie?
Umm, bigger, brighter pictures but you could do that anyway...
Much harder to find your way around now though and I don't think you can customise your 'homepage'.
I suspect a few things will get ironed out from complaints...

On the Help Forum there are 20,000 and rising...
I really dislike the complete lack of white space.
Nice shot J, you've captured this write-off Spring very well.
That was last Summer!

The new page looks like a giant proof-sheet with too many images jammed together. I much preferred the white space that could accommodate the title and the view/comments on the bottom as well as images of sets on the right. Now we have to dig it all out.
Hi, Kev.
Great shots as usual. Do you subscribe to their extended or basic service? I use their basic subscription service and am quite happy with their enhanced features. What's really bugging you?
I'll understand if you're paying good money for it.

Hi Tony.
Thanks. I really still hate the "new" Flickr even though they have ironed out a few of the bugs. A couple of members have written some code to get rid of the black backgrounds which I will try as well.
I have been a Pro ($24 per annum) member for the past couple of years, which gave me detailed stats and unlimited storage. Apparently I am entitled to keep that going, for the moment at least.
But the feeling I get is that Yahoo wants to drive all the serious people away from Flickr so they can either quietly close it down to concentrate on Tumblr, or else make Flickr into a Facebook clone - either way I've been looking at 500px and Ipernity and may move my collection there.
What bugs me about it?
1. The horrific design which is too busy
2. Search function is severely broken
3. Free users will be soon be bombarded with ads
4. Maps poor - and much of the details we photo buffs like, such as EXIF data, are no longer as easily accessible
5. No prior consultation with users over the changes
6. Slow load times, even with BT Infinity
7. Customisation no longer possible
and much more...
The feedback thread on the Flickr Help forum now has 24,480 comments on it, about 99% of them negative.

HI, Kev,
It does not affect me that much as I only use it to post the occasional photo. Once you paid for a service, like any other business, I suppose there are legal obligations attached to the agreement. It's a different matter altogether.
Tony
Tony, I think the problem for us hardcore Flickr-ites was that Flickr was about more than photos - it was about all the other stuff - it's about the titles, comments, meta-data, how we chose to organise and categorise our pics and most of all the community. It's a vibrant, friendly place, full of great photos and great people.
This new update destroys all that. While I agree that Flickr needed a minor update, all they've done with this new update is make Flickr like every other photo hosting site out there.
Many of the photos deserve better: Marinka, one of my Flickr buddies, takes amazing photos. This is how they are now displayed via the "improved" design:
Someone of her talent deserves better.

I suspect as usual they will blindly carry on with no regard to public opinion? How tory of them ?
I must admit to not using either PB or Flickr very much, when I have, I certainly found cataloging difficult with PB, and so have not really bothered much with Flickr either.
"I suspect as usual they will blindly carry on with no regard to public opinion?"
Perhaps like some other sites we dare not mention..
